Op.551 MMXXIII is a 2023 revisitation of the radical gestures and the former rafferoico’s paintings (1999-2001), developed in a constant aleatory balance between abstract and figurative.

“Fading Venus” is a pictorial exploration stimulated by the fragility and the inevitable natural transience of the feminine erotically assumed. The painting expressed in these nine works is therefore guided by a feeling of neurotic evanescence where the suffused and dispersed light interprets the beauty in its rapid dissolution.
